Director of School-Based Programs
New York Junior Tennis & Learning (NYJTL) seeks an experienced professional to oversee the delivery of after-school programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
The Director will standardize systems and procedures across the organization, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train program managers to ensure quality and adequacy of site-wide programming.
- Maintain statistics on funding goals, youth attendance, and program quality outcomes.
- Design career enhancement plans for line staff.
- Support budgetary analysis and spending plans.
- Develop systems to maintain quality and compliance of programs.
- Update procedures and handbooks annually.
- Attend meetings with school community partners.
- Collaborate with other directors to oversee programming.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate program quality.
- Monitor vacancies and turnover.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in education or similar field required.
- 7 years experience in youth development.
- Knowledge of DYCD contractual requirements a must.
- Prior supervisory role as Program Manager a plus.
- Data literacy and analytics skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
