Responsibilities:- Remain updated on insurance industry changes and protocols to fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims from start to finish
- Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs
- Update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to report your monthly and/or quarterly progress to goals to stakeholders
- Maintain and grow existing portfolios by developing and implementing effective and attentive sales strategies that cultivate long-term customer loyalty
- Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile
- Obtain the necessary licenses to sell securities and investment products for wealth management and advanced planning purposes
- Enhance your professional expertise and knowledge by participating in the training curriculum provided by New York Life
- Create and implement strategic business plans to expand your client portfolio
- Identify and reach out to potential clients to address their financial needs and inquiries
- Provide sound financial planning advice, insurance solutions, and retirement education utilizing a range of high-quality products such as life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, and long-term care insurance
- Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations
- Some computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office is required
