Compensation :

80,000 - $100,000 at plan

Responsibilities :

  • Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients
  • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
  • Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs
  • Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile
  • Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders
  • Obtain the necessary licenses to sell securities and investment products for wealth management and advanced planning purposes
  • Enhance your professional expertise and knowledge by participating in the training curriculum provided by New York Life
  • Create and implement strategic business plans to expand your client portfolio
  • Identify and reach out to potential clients to address their financial needs and inquiries
  • Provide sound financial planning advice, insurance solutions, and retirement education utilizing a range of high-quality products such as life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, and long-term care insurance

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations
  • Excellent communication, customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
  • Job seekers must have an insurance license
  • Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus
  • Strong understanding of business principles and practices
  • Preference for having an entrepreneurial mindset and experience in sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively
  • Ability to connect with the community and utilize personal networks for engagement
  • Eager to learn and continually improve oneself
