What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Associate - Automation Test Engineer position at New York Life?
Location Designation : Hybrid - 3 days per quarter
Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced and skilled senior associate automation test engineer to join our Technology QA team. This role requires experience and knowledge in how to develop test framework, test cases, set the standards and lead varied test teams in all aspects of automation for both web and mobile applications.
What You'll Do :
- Design and develop automation framework and test scripts to validate the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of software.
- Develop tests, test suites, execution protocols for CI / CD.
- Analyze test results : Review test results to identify areas of improvement.
- Identify, analyze and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to create automation strategies and deployment processes.
- Maintain testing frameworks and ensure software reliability and performance.
- Support and perform manual testing to identify defects and resolution as early in the development life cycle as possible.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in QA, automation tools, and testing methodologies.

Salary Range : $102,500-$175,000
Overtime eligible : Exempt

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
