Why Join New York Pilates Instructor Training Certification?

At New York Pilates (NYP), we’re not just a Pilates studio—we’re a movement. Our mission is to bring mindful movement to everyone, and our team is at the heart of it all. We are building an A team with talented individuals. And, we are here to help you along the way! 

Become a 400-hour certified Pilates Instructor with a scholarship to New York Pilates Instructor Training Program. The Scholarship program was created to be completed in 32 weeks (7.5 months). We take on a cohort of 5 students per region (NYC Hamptons) twice yearly with partial and full scholarships available. The program covers comprehensive Reformer Group training emphasizing contemporary Pilates and anatomy. New York Pilates Instructor Training Program is a $5200 value for 400 hour pilates certification.

Scholarship recipients will receive an email stating which scholarship they have been awarded and the start date for their cohort. If your application is submitted after the deadline you can be considered for the second cohort in June 2025. 

The full scholarship covers the tuition cost of the Comprehensive (Mat Reformer) programs at New York Pilates valued at $4,800.00 USD. Additional expenses are not covered and are therefore the responsibility of scholarship recipients, including:

Eligible students must:

• Live in our NYC or Hamptons Market to be eligible for the Scholarship 
• Be 18 years of age
• Have taken at least 50 Pilates Classes as a Student
  • 5 of which must be from NYP
• Must be ready and able to complete the comprehensive program in full within the 7.5-month time limit (Extension fees will apply if this limit is exceeded)

Application Requirements:

• Complete a video recording of your reason for applying for the scholarship
• Complete personality tests
  • DISC assessment test: Understanding workplace dynamics: The DISC pre-screening dives into the core aspects of personality types, evaluating:
    • Dominance: Measures assertiveness, challenge-seeking behaviors, and preference for control.
    • Influence: Assesses sociability, communication style, and influence over others.
    • Steadiness: Evaluates preference for consistency, cooperation, and a steady pace.
    • Compliance: Looks at attention to detail, accuracy, and preference for structure and guidelines.

• Enroll & start the comprehensive program by the deadline

Scholarship Program Requirements:

• Upon receiving notification that you have received the scholarship, return the signed agreement to it@newyorkpilates.com within 7 days 
• Enroll and start the Comprehensive program by the deadline stated in the initial email.
• Twice monthly check-ins
• Meet all requirements of the Mat Reformer while maintaining a professional demeanor during the program and taking responsibility for your progress.
• Complete all program requirements and test out within the 7.5 months of starting the Comprehensive program
