Job Description
Come grow your career at Stamford Health! Our Security team is growing - we are looking for a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, and employees. Candidates should have strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor exits and entrances, patrol site on foot or in vehicle
- Screen visitors and employees as needed
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity
- Conduct searches of bags, individuals, and patient rooms
- Respond to immediate incidents, promptly and effectively
- Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, hazardous materials and other conditions following established procedures
- Assist in evacuation and implement emergency procedures as necessary
- Prepare logs and reports as required
