Job Description
The Department of Psychiatry at Stamford Health seeks a full-time adult Outpatient Psychiatrist. Come join a brand-new outpatient behavioral health clinic located in a multispecialty ambulatory health center in Stamford, Connecticut! Typical day is 9am to 5pm with some schedule flexibility. This position is approximately 80% office-based and 20% work-from-home. No required call or weekend shifts. Patient population is adults ages 18 referred by Stamford Health providers in the community.

Outpatient Psychiatrist Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a state-of-the-art outpatient behavioral health clinic located in a multispecialty ambulatory health center.
- Complete 60-minute psychiatric intakes and 30-minute follow-up visits.
- Work collaboratively with office staff, psychotherapists, and nurse practitioners.
- Supervise and teach trainees assigned to the clinic.
- Help build a collaborative relationship with medical staff.
