A strong candidate is innovative, energetic, a self-starter, and a strong collaborator who would be adept at negotiating relationships between various constituencies at the school, as well as outside vendors.
Qualifications
- A distinct fondness for young children
- Minimum 3 years experience in related communications or marketing field preferred
- Excellent organizational, writing, editing, and data-collection skills
- Ability to think strategically about communications objectives and how to meet those objectives
- A creative mind that can utilize out of the box thinking to ideate and execute various media campaigns
- Knowledge of web content management systems
- Familiarity and dexterity with social media platforms, including Facebook, X, and Instagram
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts (SEO, SEM, SMM)
- Basic photography and videography skills
- Experience with large scale event planning preferred
- Strategic communications planning & management
- Partner with Giving & Community Engagement, Enrollment & Family Commitment, Alumni Relations, and IT to seek new media opportunities to enhance the visibility of the school’s academic programs, fundraising initiatives, students, faculty, and alumni
- Develop creative strategies to promote the school’s vision via relevant channels
- Partner with Director of Giving & Community Engagement to plan, promote, and execute a Spring Benefit
- Partner with Board Members and / or Transition Committee to successfully turnover the role of Head of School
