Minimum Qualifications
Non-Competitive: Bachelor’s degree in an art or design field such as art, drawing, painting, illustration, digital design, or interactive media and two years of experience; or an associate’s degree in the same fields and four years of experience.

Duties Description
- Design of print and digital materials to promote and educate internal and
- Reports, newsletters, publications, pamphlets, brochures, banners, posters,
- Logos, icons, informational graphics
- Illustrations
- Web/social media assets
- Multimedia assets (i.e., animations)
- Outreach displays
- Signage
- PowerPoint presentation development
- Campaign development
- Video/multimedia development
- Revision of translated documents
- Preparing design files for print, coordination of print jobs
- Researching/organizing stock photography and other photo sources, photo editing
- Ensuring compliance with the NYS Branding Guidelines
- Project tracking and organization
- Serve on project teams as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Graphic Designer
- Experience with desktop publishing
- Experience creating graphics for web sites and social media
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
- Videography skills including editing, animation, and post-production
- Experience recording and mixing audio
- Still photography and experience with Adobe Captivate
- Experience with Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects
