**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at the Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research. As a Medical Technologist 1, you will perform specialized chemical, physical, and microscopic clinical laboratory procedures and tests on human tissue specimens and body fluids.
Duties:
- Prepare specimens and samples for testing
- Operate, adjust, monitor, and maintain clinical laboratory instruments and equipment
- Analyze, interpret, and discuss test results and findings with higher-level clinical laboratory staff, healthcare professionals, and/or scientists
- Document clinical laboratory activities, maintain required records, and prepare statistical reports
- Assist in the research and development of new clinical laboratory techniques, procedures, and methodologies
