Position 1 : MongoDB Database Engineer
Key Responsibilities :
Automate database operations using Bash scripting (complex scripts with 100 lines of code).
Administer and optimize MongoDB in cloud-based environments (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Develop and maintain database automation using Python, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Git.
Work with secondary databases such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, CosmosDB, or Postgres.
Perform performance tuning, backup / recovery, and high availability configurations.
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to improve database reliability and scalability.
Technical Requirements :
Primary Database : MongoDB
Automation : Strong Bash scripting experience
Secondary Database Skills : Cassandra, Elasticsearch, CosmosDB, Postgres (or ability to learn quickly)
Cloud Experience : GCP, AWS, or Azure
Development & Automation : Python, Kubernetes, Git, Ansible
Key Qualifications :
7-10 years of hands-on database engineering experience.
Strong background in database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Expertise in automating database tasks using complex Bash scripts.
Ability to work independently and learn new database technologies quickly.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance issues.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across teams.
