Job Description Purview Architect (8-10 Years Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Purview Architecture & Implementation:
Design and architect Microsoft Purview solutions for enterprise-scale data governance.
Define and implement metadata management, data lineage, and classification strategies.
Establish best practices for data discovery, cataloging, and compliance in Purview.
Develop data governance frameworks, policies, and business glossaries.
2. Integration & Automation:
Integrate Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, ADLS, Databricks) with Purview.
Automate metadata ingestion, classification, and lineage tracking using Purview APIs, PowerShell, Python, or Azure Functions.
Ensure seamless integration with third-party data governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica, etc.).
3. Security & Compliance:
Implement RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), sensitivity labeling, and policy enforcement within Purview.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks.
Work closely with security and legal teams to define and enforce data access policies.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy:
Collaborate with C-level executives, data engineers, business analysts, and security teams to define data governance roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data governance teams.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations on Purview adoption and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, and compliance.
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (formerly Azure Purview).Strong expertise in Azure Data Services (Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, SQL, Databricks).
Experience with data cataloging, lineage tracking, and security policy enforcement.
Deep understanding of RBAC, sensitivity labels, data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
Proficiency in Purview APIs, PowerShell, Python, or automation scripts.
Ability to define and implement enterprise-wide data governance strategies.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate / Azure Security Engineer.
Experience with third-party data governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica, etc.).
Knowledge of AI-driven data classification and governance analytics.
Salary : $65 - $70
