What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at New York Technology Partners?
The New York Technology Partners team is looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our operations. The ideal candidate will act as a key customer contact for all quality-related issues and work collaboratively with the Certified Floor Auditor Level IIIs, Quality Layout Technicians, and other teams to ensure that all quality standards are met.
This role involves formulating operating practices to address preventative action requirements and ensuring that end products meet or exceed customer specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to determine appropriate Root cause and corrective actions needed.
- Review and disposition of non-conforming product.
- Develop qualification protocols and control plans to meet all customer requirements while minimizing scrap and eliminating customer returns.
- Verify that all appropriate instructions are in place to meet customer and/or other outside agencies' requirements.
Qualifications:
A Degree in a relevant field of study and 2 years' experience in quality engineering or A High School Diploma, GED, and a minimum of 5 years quality engineering experience.
