Qualifications
- Physical Therapy License in NY (active physical therapist)
- Compassionate and comfortable working with geriatric and/or pediatric populations
- New-grad physical therapists are welcome! We offer a VERY strong and structured mentorship program - make sure to inquire about this!
Additional Information
- We work with Medicare - eligible geriatric patients.
- We also work in pediatrics via OPWDD program
- Physical Therapists can choose to accept geriatric and pediatric patients on a case-by-case basis.
Expectations
- Physical therapist should be able to travel between the homes of patients in geriatric and pediatric populations
- Provide a level of care that you would want your loved ones to receive!!
- Timely submission of documentation using our chosen EMR, WebPT
- Good communication between the front desk and therapists is very important. We use text/email for most communication
- Eagerness to progress their patients to their highest potential. Help us debunk the myth that homecare therapy is poor and lacks skill :)
