Description:

The Sales Coordinator, Stadium Programs position is responsible for operational objectives related to selling non-baseball events at Yankee Stadium, including, but not limited to: Hands-on-History, Yankees summer camps, marriage proposals, photo shoots and other programs. The coordinator will assist as a liaison to clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, as well as be a hands-on team member at events within the venue to meet contractual obligations, while exemplifying the highest quality customer service standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle initial client contact with the Events Department, including vetting event inquiries and leads
- Assist in creating event contracts and invoices as needed
- Brainstorm new event concepts to bring to Yankee Stadium
- Work with vendors on required information and documents for executing events in Stadium
- Onsite presence at events to assist with setup and execution, demonstrating a continuous effort and commitment to provide a quality client experience
- Answer the main department phone line, check messages, and distribute accordingly
- Assist with Department’s financial tracking, inputting events, expected revenue and operating costs for programs
- Inventory of marketing and event materials
- Other duties and administrative tasks, as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event operations, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience professionally selling and coordinating a variety of events and activities at a convention center, hotel, or other large public facility. Internship experience considered.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
- High level of client interaction requiring strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve with a positive outlook, exceptional attention-to-detail, and high level of organization
- Job will require working nights and weekends as assigned, as well as the ability to work in an outside stadium environment
