Job Overview
A dental receptionist's responsibilities include:
- Customer service: Greeting patients and visitors, and providing excellent customer service
- Scheduling appointments: Scheduling and canceling appointments
- Answering phone calls: Answering calls from patients, suppliers, and insurance companies
- Verifying insurance: Verifying insurance information and filing insurance claims
- Managing patient records: Handling patient records and updating them as needed
- Processing payments: Collecting payments and developing and implementing payment plans
- Conducting and maintaining a recall system to help maintain a patient's oral health and to help dentists monitor their patients' health
- Maintaining the front desk: Ensuring the waiting area is clean and welcoming
- Communicating with others: Acting as a liaison between patients and dental staff, and communicating with insurance companies, vendors, and partners
- Multitasking: Handling a variety of tasks at the same time
Must have at least 2 years of Full-time work experience as a Dental Office Receptionist.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
