We are committed to career development and make the most of opportunities to get together.Ō te tūranga - About the roleYou will investigate, audit, educate, advise on, and ensure compliance (enforce) the safety and supply quality frameworks for electricity and gas established by legislation, standards and codes of practice. We have two permanent vacancies, our preferred locations are Auckland and Wellington, however we are open to other locations.Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do : Investigate accidentsConduct audits on appliances, fittings, installations and networksEducate and engage with stakeholdersWrite technical reportsEnforcement of the electricity and gas legislationKo ngā pukenga ōu - What You'll Bring :
• Qualification in an Electrical trade or related occupationAbility to recognise safety risksSound knowledge of the regulatory frameworks and standardisationAbility to interpret regulatory requirements and write technical reportsInvestigation or auditing experience (advantageous)Past or current Electrical Practicing and / or Inspector Licence (advantageous)Experience with emerging uses of electricity or distributed generation and supply (advantageous)Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.
