Key Responsibilities
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure conformance to specifications and drawings.
Use a variety of inspection equipment, including dial calipers, pin gauges, wall gauges, and laser measuring devices, to accurately measure dimensions and detect defects.
Record and document all inspection details and information, including defective or suspect products, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
Identify and track products with non-conformities, submitting reports and supporting documentation as required.
Contain and quarantine rejected materials, tracking information via computer systems.
Determine proper sample sizes for inspections and store production and inspection records according to company policies.
Communicate quality concerns and improvement ideas to management and colleagues.
Work effectively in cleanroom environments as needed and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
