The Product Quote Coordinator will support the Design Engineering team by contributing to projects and work run by the Systems Engineer. This role coordinates customer requests and obtains materials, labor, parts, and equipment requirements to generate an estimate for customers. Main responsibilities will be with Product Structure, Custom Quote systems with additional work on Change Management and Product Data Management systems. This position has product structure and quoting responsibilities, which include consulting with other departments, including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality. Must support accurate quotations and product structures for customer quotes on time and provide the necessary information on any inquiry from an internal or external customer efficiently and accurately.
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Lead on quotes for custom extrusion, fabrication, and hose shop products
- Development, review, and presentation of quote packages
- Identify required tooling needs and quote customer if required
- Accurate and thorough routers / labor estimates
- Organize and build product structure in ERP system for both labor and material costing
- Read technical drawings and build labor time assumptions
- Ensure resources, equipment, and tooling capabilities are identified to meet production and customer requirements
- Variance investigations
- Change control backup
- Contributor for Systems Engineering projects
- Suggest improvements in current systems
