JOB SUMMARY
The Business Intelligence Analyst assists in streamlining internal and client processes through automation and data visualization. The BI Analyst uses Healthfuse systems and software to analyze industry and client-specific data for the purpose of making business process improvements, and contract negotiation recommendations to internal resources and external clients, as well as demonstrating engagement value and vendor performance.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
o Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx to be used by the BI Reporting tool. ETL specific for creating datasets (to be used by Tableau Data Extract for BI)
o Write Complex SQL queries on multiple tables using complex joins
o Prepare technical specifications and documentation for Alteryx workflows supporting BI reports
o Perform end to end Data validation
o Identification and development of hospital client’s baseline revenue cycle vendor performance
o Customization and development of Healthfuse’s client reporting packages
o Research and analysis of the quantitative and qualitative performance of healthcare revenue cycle vendors throughout the industry
o Creating monthly inventory reconciliation reporting package
o Lead the organization’s efforts with regards to vendor profiling, analysis, and new client sourcing needs
Required Qualifications
o Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Work Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
o High data analytics and strong problem-solving skills
o Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
o Knowledge of MSSQL, Azure
o Knowledge of Alteryx
o Knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI
Desired Qualifications
o 1 years of experience using MSSQL, Azure
o 1 years of related experience with Alteryx
o 1 years of experience using BI tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
o Healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred
o Action-oriented, independent, and self-motivated
o Ability to work in a high activity/fast paced environment
o Project management skills, ability to define and manage processes and projects, making recommendations for improvement when necessary
