Led by a retired Army JAG officer, their rapidly growing boutique practice is seeking a smart, compassionate, and ethical Estate Planning Attorney to work out of their Brookfield office who is committed to helping others and making a meaningful impact in clients' lives.
Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the estate planning production pipeline, from design to client delivery.

Supervise probate and trust administration, including paralegal management and court appearances.

Directly work with clients to understand their needs, strategize, and deliver tailored estate plans.

Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related legal documents.

Ensure all legal work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Collaborate with the legal team to maintain high standards and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:

5 years of estate planning experience, particularly with taxable estates.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with preferred experience in MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Actionstep.

Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin or eligible for licensing within 3 months.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle emotionally charged situations.

Proven experience in estate planning, particularly with taxable estates, requiring minimal supervision.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to Wealthcounsel and Eldercounsel document preparation if not already familiar.

Ready to take on a demanding caseload, including client meetings, document drafting/review, and occasional litigation.

Capable of independently managing client matters while providing regular progress updates to the firm's owner.
Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive base salary ranges from $80,000 to $135,000, depending on experience.

Quarterly performance bonuses, with potential annual earnings exceeding $200,000.
