Summary

We are looking for highly talented individuals who enjoy working as a team to create world-class solutions for customers in a very collaborative work environment. This position offers a customer-focused UX / UI designer the opportunity to use their knowledge of industry UX best practices to help research, define, sequence, prototype, design, test and deliver next-generation, intuitive solutions. You will help set a compelling, coherent UX direction that helps improve user productivity and satisfaction, clinical and operational outcomes for customers, and drive business growth for the company.

What you will do : Customer research

  • Work with a product team to understand customer problems and create and test prototypes as a solution to those problems.
  • Run usability tests with customers to uncover areas of uncertainty and streamline product workflows.
  • Build and present customer insights to help drive decision making.

Visual Implementation

  • Prototyping : Create low and high-res UI mockups, wireframes, user workflow diagrams, and prototypes to communicate specs & requirements visually to product delivery teams.
  • Whiteboarding : Comfortable leading a group through a design brainstorm.
  • Design standards : Ensure a consistent user experience across all software products.
  • Illustration : Can produce highly styled illustrations that have meaning and are easy to understand.
  • Animation : Understands motion graphics and can apply those skills to create an engaging user experience.
  • Basics

  • Work alongside an empowered team to create software and experiences that delight our customers.
  • Be a leader in Product Discovery and Product Delivery meetings.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile software development as well as Lean UX methodologies and troubleshoot the challenges of integrating UX into an Agile model.
  • Point the team towards thinking about the user of the software and their needs.
  • Think big picture and create visuals of what the entire software suite will look like and how it will operate.
  • Lead regular user research and design review meetings.
  • Give and solicit feedback from other team members to learn from one another and see the problem from a variety of angles.
  • Be approachable and establish a mutual respect and trust with product managers, engineers, quality assurance, and other designers.
  • Drive user experiences from start-to-finish that deliver results and connect with our customers.

  • Preferred Education or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic, Interaction, Industrial Design or related field of study or similar work experience.
  • 5 years of professional experience in a UX / UI Design or related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe XD, Figma, Microsoft Office, and other tools as needed.
