Certification Details
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Children's Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center
- 13 weeks
- Every other weekend (Sat/Sun)
- Primary Unit: PICU
- Will float to Pediatrics, and NICU if needed for an appropriate assignment
- Must have 2 years of PICU critical care experience with 1 year of cardiac experience
- Must be competent to care for CT patients with ASD, VSD, AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF, s/p cardiac cath and ablations, cardiac transplant, post cardiac surgery
- Experience in BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, trachs REQ
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- 19 beds on the unit
- Charting System: EPIC
- First time travelers are not accepted
- Scrub color Navy Blue
- 2 years of PICU critical care experience
- 1 year of cardiac experience
- Competent to care for CT patients with specific cardiac conditions
- Experience in BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, trachs
- Every other weekend (Sat/Sun)
- 13 weeks contract
- Primary Unit: PICU
- Will float to Pediatrics, and NICU if needed for an appropriate assignment
- This is required to clear.
- Government Issued Photo ID required.
- TIME SENSITIVE, Driver’s license required to be provided within 48 hours of signing.
Salary : $2,586 - $19,000
