We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers throughout their time at camp. Duties
- Supervise and engage campers in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement creative and educational programs that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal growth.
- Facilitate group activities including arts and crafts, sports, theater performances, and outdoor adventures.
- Provide support in areas such as classroom management and teamwork to enhance campers' learning experiences.
- Maintain a positive environment that encourages campers to express themselves and develop new skills.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to foster a collaborative camp community.
- Assist with camper check-in/check-out procedures and maintain accurate records of attendance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare or related fields such as daycare or babysitting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.
- Background or interest in theater, arts and crafts, and sports is a plus to enhance camp programming.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. We will train.
- Ability to manage groups effectively while promoting a positive atmosphere.
- Must be enthusiastic, responsible, and able to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to educating children through engaging activities is essential.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
