The Newark Electrical Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (JATC) trains the next generation of skilled electricians. We’re expanding our team and seeking an organized, customer‑focused professional to guide prospective apprentices through our application and enrollment process.

Position Summary
As our Applicant Experience Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for all Apprenticeship and Pre=Apprenticeship applicants. You’ll own the end‑to‑end application process—answering questions, tracking progress, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring every candidate receives a clear, professional experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track all incoming apprenticeship applications from initial inquiry through onboarding
- Respond promptly to phone, email, and in‑person inquiries; prioritize and relay messages when needed
- Review application materials for completeness and accuracy; follow up on missing information
- Schedule interviews, assessments, and orientation sessions
- Provide basic computer and software troubleshooting support to applicants and office staff
- Maintain organized digital and physical records; generate regular reports on application metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and candidate satisfaction

Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience in customer service, administrative support, or similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational ability with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with applicant tracking or CRM systems is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
