The Newark Electrical Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (JATC) develops the next generation of skilled electricians through a nationally‑recognized apprenticeship program. In this role, you’ll serve as the central manager of apprentice data and curriculum materials — ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and an exceptional experience for our students and instructors.

Position Summary
The Newark Electrical Apprenticeship is looking for an organized, initiative-taking Curriculum Information Specialist to aid the Coordinator with managing all student information. The CIS will also manage preparing documentation, instructional information, and material for all classes. Candidate must be courteous and professional with basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all apprentice incident reports (failed tests, absences, make‑up schedules) from initiation through resolution
- Track and maintain apprentice grades and attendance; submit records on time to partnering institutions
- Build, organize, and distribute training packets, tests, and curriculum documentation
- Monitor spending and inventory on instructional materials
- Communicate with Membership Development on participation milestones
- Provide first‑line administrative and basic technical support (answer calls/emails, take accurate messages, troubleshoot software issues)
- Collaborate with senior staff on process‑improvement initiatives to optimize information flow
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience in customer service, administrative support, or similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational ability with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe; comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with apprentice tracking or CRM systems is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
