The Wellness Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with information on Wellness Department products. Functional knowledge of Supplements, Herbs, and Personal Care preferred. This is a great opportunity for students studying Nutrition, Dietetics, Health & Wellness.
Duties include providing outstanding and courteous assistance to customers, receiving and stocking new orders, remaining productive throughout their shift, and completing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
· High School Diploma or equivalent education experience preferred
· Preferred experience in supplements and retail environment.
· Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team while being able to work independently as needed
· Readily adaptable to evolving co-op needs or in response to feedback.
· Keen attention to detail and overall condition of products and department.
· Ability to follow and complete task checklists and fully carry-out instruction.
· Must have flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to align with store needs.
· Ability to work and be on your feet for up to 8 hours a shift.
· Pushing/pulling carts/U-boats in excess of 100lbs.
· Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
· Ability to twist, turn, reach, bend, squat, and perform repetitive motions.
· Due to the structure of the facility, must be able to climb stairs multiple times per day (or use elevator).
