The Cardiac Rehab & Wellness Team Leader works with Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Cardiac Rehab clients. Reviews referral for medical necessity, assesses patients, assists with development of exercise prescription, conducts exercise sessions, and provides patient education. Assists clients to optimal restoration and maintenance of cardiovascular function. Assists with community, industrial and employee wellness programs. Leads the Wellness, Cardiac and Pulmonary rehab staff.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience as a Respiratory Therapist required.
- Prior experience in Cardiopulmonary clinical setting preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of South Carolina.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
