Job Overview

Boston Media Networks is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer to lead growth and operational excellence at NewBostonPost, a conservative news platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital media, a commitment to conservative values, and a proven track record in business management, subscription growth, and revenue generation.


Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless website functionality and appearance.
  • Lead cross-departmental teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.


Subscription Growth & Retention

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase paid subscribers.
  • Minimize attrition through proactive engagement, retention programs, and payment recovery solutions


Revenue Growth

  • Identify and execute new revenue opportunities, including sponsorships, partnerships, and premium content.
  • Drive advertising revenue through direct sales and programmatic advertising.


Marketing & Social Media

  • Oversee all social media advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand values and audience engagement.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to amplify brand visibility and attract new audiences.


Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost controls to optimize profitability.
  • Work closely with accounting and HR to streamline payroll, benefits, and compliance.


Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as a key spokesman for NewBostonPost, building relationships with advertisers, partners, and investors.
  • Maintain open communication with the CEO and board members on progress toward strategic goals.


Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in digital media, business operations, or related fields
  • Strong alignment with conservative values and an understanding of the conservative media landscape.
  • Proven success in subscription growth, marketing, and revenue generation.
  • Experience managing website functionality and working with web development teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with budget management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be based in the Greater Boston area or willing to relocate.
