Newbury Comics is looking for an experienced, reliable, outgoing, and friendly delivery driver to join our team! We offer a competitive wage and benefits package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Load and unload the delivery vehicle with inventory - boxes, totes and fixtures
- Safely drive and deliver product as well as retail fixtures to our stores throughout New England
- When not out for deliveries, working in our warehouse
- Be punctual and professional, every day
- Bring an energetic, cooperative, proactive, self-motivated attitude
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be comfortable driving in variable weather conditions
- Must be a safe/defensive driver while maintaining proper courtesy to others on the road
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be willing to work overtime during busy times
- Delivery Driver experience (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
