Job Overview
Were looking for highly motivated individuals to join our strong and rapidly growing accounting team. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for leading the month-end close process, account reconciliations, and supervision of accounting associates as well as various financial and administrative duties to support the business.
Accounting Supervisor Job Responsibilities :
Manages the smooth operations of the accounting team including providing oversight, guidance, and delegation of tasks to accounting associates as necessary.
Supervises ongoing and monthly balancing of the financial books and conducts accurate and timely reconciliations of accounts, bank statements, and ledgers.
Prepares financial reporting including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets for consolidation in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Manages accounting functions including but not limited to general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Reviews, evaluates, and implements accounting policies and procedures including policies on inventory costing, capitalization, revenue recognition, etc.
Provides management with timely reviews of organizational financial status and progress.
Assists with special projects as required; performs related duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or equivalent in an Accounting-related field.
Working knowledge of month-end close process and financial reporting; knowledge of GAAP.
Experience working within an industrial, warehousing, or similar industry is a plus. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, warehousing and distribution environment, and familiarity with inventory standard costing systems are all highly desirable.
Proficiency with Accounting within NetSuite or equivalent ERP is a plus.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Proven leadership and a demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
