Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate methods and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Inspect floors regularly to identify areas needing repair or special attention.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with other custodial staff to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks.
- Respond promptly to any spills or accidents, ensuring immediate cleanup to maintain safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning methods.
- Knowledge of environmental services practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
