We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial and residential spaces. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap.
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning products and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and company cleaning standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist with special cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning and post-construction cleanups.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed.
- Must pass a background check if required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
