Newco Enterprises is a leading manufacturer of commercial coffee machines that has been brewing up innovations for 50 years. Founded in 1974, Newco has grown from humble beginnings into an industry leader known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled manufacturing facility houses the latest Amada metal fabrication machinery, positioning us for even higher levels of quality and efficiency.
At Newco, we are seeking summer associates, ages 15 and older, to help in a variety of roles. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic hand tools, hand/eye coordination, and a focus on quality work.
Open roles:
- Sub-Assembly: Assembling batch orders of small parts that are later used in the assembly lines
- Assembly: Assembling the inside of brewers to the blueprints and schematics provided, primarily uses hand tools and some machinery.
- Electronics: Programming tablets, manually adding components to printed circuit boards, soldering of circuit boards
- Boxing: Inspecting, packaging, and boxing completed brewers for shipment.
Shifts Available:
- Full-time: 6:30am - 3:00pm
- Part time mornings: 6:30am - 11:00am
- Part-time afternoons: 11:30am - 3:00pm
- Part-time mid-day: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Requirements
- At least 15 years of age
- Excellent hand eye coordination.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to stand for a prolonged period (up to 8 hours) and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
- Lifting up to 25lbs.
- Safety minded individuals - PPE is required at all times while working.
