OVERVIEW: The Newcoast Vice President of Insurances is a visionary and results-driven leader responsible for driving financial performance, customer excellence, and strategic growth within the Newcoast Insurance Division. This role will lead all aspects of the insurance organization, including market expansion, customer retention, product innovation, operational efficiency, while cultivating synergies within MarineMax’s broader echosystem. The Newcoast Vice President of Insurance will be the key architecht in shaping strategies that drive profitability, growth, and innovation, while embodying the mission and values of the organization.
KEY TASKS:
- Champion Newcoast’s mission, vision, and values in all actions, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation.
- Lead by example to motivate and inspire teams across the organization, ensuring alignment with Newcoast’s strategic goals and long-term vision.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, forward-thinking marine insurance strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and responds to changing market dynamics.
- Drive expansion within the broader MarineMax ecosystem, leveraging synergies to identify cross-selling opportuinties and create new revenue streams.
- Lead efforts to introduce innovative products, services, and offerings that enhance Newcoast’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.
- Identify and capitalize on new marine insurance and personal lines business opportunities, both domestic and international.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and prompt resolution of issues, driving high customer satisfaction (FANS) scores.
- Lead client engagement initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction, high policy retention rates and proactive account management with personalized service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and underwriters to their unique needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Develop and implement best practices for underwriting and claims management, and policy issurance while maintaining a deep understanding of insurance regulations to ensure that the agency remains compliant with all federal and states laws and ndustry regulations.
- Establish and manage annual budgets for the insurance division, with a focus on achieiving revenue, market share, and profitability growth.
- Set clear performance objectives, track KPI’s, and conduct regular team member performance reviews to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement through regular training across the agency to enhance the team’s technical expertise.
- Represent Newcoast in industry events, conferences, and forums, promoting the company’s vision, leadership and commitment to the marine industry.
- Project a professional and knowledgeable image to all customers and team members.
