Salary

75,000 - $95,000

TheFSSC (Finance Shared Service Center) Accounting based in Chicago (total 6 FTE) takescare of transactional accounting and reporting activities for all businesses ofNewCold in the Americas. The FSSC team in Chicago is supervised by the TeamLead FSSC and needs to grow and further professionalize to keep up with thegrowing demand of services because of the growth and professionalization of theNewCold group in the Americas region

Aboutthe vacancy

Tosupport our further worldwide growth, we are looking to recruit a FinancialAccountant to join our Global Finance Department. You will be working in closecollaboration with the respective controllers and AP / GL colleagues. Next tothat you will collaborate with other team members both national andinternational on implementing the way of working by standardizing, simplifying,and automating. You will report to the Team Lead FSSC Accounting based inChicago.

Whatwill you do?

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting under tight deadlines and in line with the globalpolicies and guidelines for the FSSC
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closing in line with the FSSC closingchecklist
• Analysis and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Registration of payrolling
• Preparation of tax returns and declarations, vendor payments and auditdocumentation
• Assist in various improvement projects for the global FSSC team, HQ in theNetherlands
