We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our site in McDonough, GA. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and is a critical role for the site. This role balances administrative tasks as well as implementation of processes and procedures that advance the HR strategy at the site. The person in this role is one who is a team player, detailed-oriented, communicates well verbally and in written form and is approachable, knowledgeable and trustworthy.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provides support in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Employee Orientation, compliance, payroll and timekeeping, workers comp and leave administration.
Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding HR issues, rules and regulations and can explain company policies and procedures to employees.
Helps manage timecards and payroll administration to ensure a pristine payroll process each pay period.
Manages all employee data, updates ADP, training systems and performance review/management system.
Ensures annual audits and employee file and I-9 management is in compliance with state and federal requirements.
Ensures accurate and concise records during all phases of local recruitment processes.
Monitors and administers absenteeism of the local organization, in line with health and safety legislation.
Compiles and maintains various HR spreadsheets and data for weekly and monthly reporting.
Supports Human Resources Manager in various local projects and/or employee engagement events.
Can move projects, tasks and programs to completion with little to no direction or prompting.
Requirements
5 years minimum experience in multiple areas of HR, including but not limited to recruiting, reporting, payroll administration, employee relations and investigations, safety administration.
Must have 2 years minimum experience with ADP Workforce Now.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be adept in Excel and Microsoft office.
Knowledge of GA state laws.
Must be able to operate independently.
Must be able to hold HR information in the strictest confidence.
Education/Certification
Bachelor's degree required
PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP Certification preferred
