 Responsibilities

• Project management.
• Client management.
• Internal commissioning group management, including manpower, project assignments and scheduling.
• Supervise commissioning efforts on multiple, concurrent project sites.
• Quality control for all commissioning services.
• Provide support for our HVAC design services, related to controls and/or TAB issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Desire to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in the trade, and advance in a career in the controls design industry.
• Demonstrate exceptional project management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. (Limited travel is possible if desired).
• Ability to prioritize effectively, has good follow-through, and practices self-implemented quality control measures.
• Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally.
• Desire to attain Cx, controls and/or TAB certifications.
• Thorough understanding of HVAC system concepts and associated controls systems and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system operational issues.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, or have related technical field experience.
• PE preferred.
• Minimum eight years (8) of experience managing large commercial commissioning and/or retro-commissioning projects.
• TAB and/or HVAC controls expertise preferred.
• Cx, controls and/or TAB certifications preferred.
• HVAC or electrical engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with commissioning project management software preferred.
