Newcomb & Boyd, a multi-discipline engineering firm, is looking for a TAB Technician. We are looking to hire candidates within the Southeast.

Responsibilities
- Prepare TAB plans.
- Prepare templates, documentation, and calculations for testing of systems.
- Assist with commissioning and retro-commissioning projects.
- Assist with functional testing of complex engineered systems.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Analyze testing results and evaluate proper and optimized operations of complex engineered systems.
- Provide support for our HVAC design services, related to TAB issues.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Desire to develop knowledge, skills and abilities in the trade, and advance in a career in the commissioning industry.
- Demonstrates exceptional project management skills.
- Ability to travel 80% of time.
- Prioritizes effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures.
- Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally.
- Desire to attain Cx certifications.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of HVAC system concepts.
Education and Experience
- NEBB or AABC certification required.
- Minimum 5 years (5) of experience performing TAB for large commercial projects.
- Cx and/or controls certifications preferred.
