Job Overview
A leading architecture and design firm specializing in Multifamily, Mixed-Use, and Commercial projects is looking for a new Project Manager join their DC (McLean) office. This role involves hands-on architectural work, including drawings, design, and documentation, with a focus on multifamily architecture projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a client-facing role while remaining deeply engaged in Revit-based project work.
The Project Architect (PA) works within a structured team alongside a Project Manager (PM), who handles scheduling, and 2-3 design staff members. This role focuses on urban mixed-use and wrap projects, with minimal construction administration (CA) work, as the firm has a dedicated CA team.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design, documentation, and drawing production for multifamily projects.
- Work directly with clients while collaborating closely with internal teams.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager (PM) to ensure project milestones are met.
- Utilize Revit for all project phases; Bluebeam experience is a plus.
- Work within a structured team environment, including PM, PA, and design staff.
- Collaborate on urban mixed-use and wrap-style developments.
- Minimal involvement in construction administration (CA) due to a dedicated CA team.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive depending on experience.
- Work Schedule: Hybrid – 1 remote day per week (flexible).
- PTO: 3 weeks (increases to 4 weeks after 5 years).
