The Planner/Scheduler will develop, manage, and maintain project schedules in collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and owners. This role requires effective communication and strong scheduling skills, particularly for federal projects. The position is based in Huntsville, with potential travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead schedule development with project teams.
- Update and track project progress.
- Analyze potential delays and changes to schedules.
- Collaborate with management and field teams to set and monitor project goals.
- Manage schedules for multiple or large projects.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
- Other duties as needed, including possible travel or relocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in scheduling construction projects.
- PSP certification preferred.
- Experience with Primavera P6 or similar software.
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with claims prevention and constructibility reviews is a plus.
