Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement effective merchandising programs to promote brands and products, ensuring alignment with key campaigns and promotions.
- Campaign Management: Manage product merchandising for high-impact campaigns, including daily deals and category-specific exposures.
- Vendor Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with major brand vendors, manage vendor funding and spent, and ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Market Analysis: Regularly review competitor activities and internal/external trend changes to identify opportunities and enhance merchandising strategies.
- Content Management: Oversee the process of managing content on Newegg platforms, ensuring accuracy and optimization.
- Sales Coordination: Forecast potential sales, schedule communications with key sellers, and provide insights on sales trends at various price points.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to execute merchandising programs, identify external advertising opportunities, and facilitate a promotional calendar.
- Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting metrics to measure the performance of merchandising efforts.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product launches, and competitive price points.
- Additional Responsibilities: Handle production and supply difficulties and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field; or 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of e-commerce marketing, Google PLA, SEM and SPA
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and coordination skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented mindset, able to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines.
