Living Environment - Science 7-12
Newfield High School is searching for a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher (Biology) to foster scientific knowledge and discovery among our students. The Science Teacher will be responsible for presenting Science interestingly and engagingly, adhering to educational standards, and nurturing the students' overall academic growth. The goal is to inspire and ignite students' curiosity about the natural and physical world and foster an environment that encourages scientific thinking. The teacher will design and implement lessons based on New York State standards and curriculum. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, lectures, and demonstrations. Regularly evaluate students' performance and development, ensuring they are on track to meet set learning objectives. Facilitate an optimal learning environment conducive to students' academic growth and caters to different learning styles.
