What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Newfield House?

We are seeking a part time Dietary Aide with light cooking to join our kitchen. Commitment to exceeding expectations, and producing quality, nutritious meals is at the heart of what we do each day.
Shift hours are 6:00am-2:30pm Sunday through Thursday.
Qualifications:
- One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team and have a proven record of dependable, regular attendance.
- Experience in a hospitality environment, providing exceptional hospitality to our residents and guests.
- Knowledge of dietary procedures and related laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to safe food handling. SERV Safe certification is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Consistent preparation of all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station.
- Participate in all aspects of kitchen operation such as stocking, cleaning, dish washing, sanitizing, etc.
- Wait on tables and interact with residents.
