What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Services Administrator position at Newfound Area School District?

The Newfound Area School District commits to provide a supportive environment that fosters positive relationships and delivers an innovative and personalized educational experience to prepare our learners for the future.
Facilitate the participation of special education, English as a Second Language learners, homeless liaison and 504 students in all school programs and activities as appropriate.
Plan and design appropriate programming for educationally disabled students and systematically supervise and review individual educational plans/programs and adjust when necessary.
Collect and analyze information and assess data for use in program planning and implementation.
Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with regular educators by responding appropriately to suggestions and criticisms from within the educational organization.
Provide training opportunities for special educations staff, Local Education Authority’s, and site administrators about special education law and practices.
Coordinate and train school-based Local Education Authority’s, principals, and teachers on special education law, meeting procedures, and District policies and practices.
Coordinate and review all Out-of-District placements.
Perform all other duties or special assignments as may be delegated by the Superintendent.
