What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1:1 Paraprofessionals position at Newfound Regional High School?
The Newfound Area School District commits to provide a supportive environment that fosters positive relationships and delivers an innovative and personalized educational experience to prepare our learners for the future.
Provide instructional support as defined in the IEP including support for therapeutic goals under the direction of the special education teacher, regular education teacher, and/or related service provider.
Provide personal care and follow any specialized plans.
May be responsible for implementation of alternative curriculum under direction of special education teacher or educational consultant
Maintain accurate data records as directed by a special education teacher or educational consultant to ensure compliance with IEP and progress monitoring.
Work cooperatively with classroom teachers in meeting the needs of the student within the regular education environment in as inclusive of a manner as possible.
