Job Description:
Newhart’s Cleaning Service, the #1 rated cleaning company in Franklin County, is hiring a Janitorial Cleaning Technician for a part-time evening shift position based in Ferrum, VA. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality janitorial services to our commercial clients.
This position requires previous janitorial cleaning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nightly janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, office spaces, common areas, and breakrooms.
- Handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all company cleaning standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while working at client locations.
Qualifications:
- Janitorial cleaning experience is required (minimum of 6 months preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs of cleaning supplies/equipment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be trustworthy, punctual, and professional.
Job Type: Part-Time (Evening Shift)
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Evening shift (starting around 5:00 PM)
- 20–29 hours per week
