Why
We are seeking a proactive and quick-learning Project Assistant to support our client team. The ideal candidate will be adept at quickly mastering new software tools, managing multiple tasks, using administrative skills and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. This role requires presence in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days. Pay range is $35-43/hr (W2). This a contract role for 12 months, with the ability to go perm.

- Leverage relationships with large organizations to foster collaborations that support local economic growth.
Metrics and Impact Tracking:
- Develop and implement tracking metrics to measure economic impact on communities throughout the state.
Community Impact:
Collaboration with Strategic Partners:
- Work with local anchor institutions and key partners to help meet the organizations's goals for community impact.
Outreach and Engagement:
- Stimulate growth in underserved communities through education and empowerment programs.
Empowerment:
- Lead programs designed to empower the next generation of diverse businesses through outreach and mentorship.
Sustainability Impact:
Sustainable Sourcing:
- Prioritize sustainable sourcing practices that reduce environmental impact and align with environmental justice principles.
Waste Reduction Initiatives:
- Support the organization's sustainability office in waste reduction, focusing on reducing single-use plastics.
Collaboration with Certification Bodies:
- Align with third-party environmental certification organizations to ensure responsible sourcing practices.
Qualifications:
- Take charge of projects from conception through completion, ensuring all objectives are met or exceeded.
- Plan, execute, and close projects by managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
- Provide comprehensive support to senior management, including scheduling, correspondence, and preparing reports.
- Ensure operational efficiency within the department by managing administrative functions effectively.
- Perform analytical tasks to support decision-making, preparing reports and presentations that streamline operations and help implement new processes.
- Proactively identify challenges and devise effective solutions while adapting to evolving priorities without direct supervision.
- Serve as a liaison between various departments and external partners, maintaining professionalism and clarity in communications.
- Proven experience in project management and administrative support.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data.
