Loan Document Specialist

NEWITY is America's source for small business capital, focused on empowering entrepreneurs with access to loan solutions and trusted service providers. We are looking for a Loan Document Specialist to join our loan document team.

We are seeking a customer-centric Loan Document Specialist to join our team. This role requires strong organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and through email. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working on a fast-paced dynamic team and who is passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build working relationships with members to facilitate their loan application process

• Review business documents to assess whether the business meets basic loan qualifications

• Prepare member applications for submission to underwriting

• Keep members up to date on their application progress and resolve issues as they arise

• Proactively reach out to members via phone to answer questions and encourage application completion

• Reach out to unresponsive members to re-engage them in the loan application process

Qualifications:

• Call center or phone relationship management experience is a must – outbound calling is a plus

• Experience in lending or finance is a plus, but not required

• Comfortable using HubSpot or other CRMs is a plus

• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Teams, and OneNote

• Comfortable in dynamic, high-volume environments

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle a wide range of situations over the phone with tact and diplomacy

• Effective time management and self-accountability

• Able to multi-task under time pressure

• Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take on challenges

• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities

• Comfortable working and learning independently

Base Rate: $20.00 per hour
