Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting, including but not limited to Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Disease, and Rheumatology. The Medical Assistant will support both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Assists in responding to patient prescription refills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Reinforces education to patients as directed.
- Demonstrates good communication skills in reporting issues and concerns to administration.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations.
